So here is the blog everyone's been waiting for...
Today we experienced the brand new Ferrari World Theme park in Abu Dhabi. Just opened a few weeks ago, the park was how do I say this...empty. The theme park is the size of seven football fields, yet there were no more than 50 people there. I wasn't complaining though, it felt like my personal theme park, and no waiting in line! Most of the rides are family friendly. The first roller coaster we went on was a train of three Ferrari style cars and went approx 60 mph. Talk about fast...but it was definitely fun.
Want to feel like an F1 racer? Well the Ferrari World theme park has the fastest roller coaster in the world...150 mph!!! Since there were only a few people, we didn't have to wait longer than five minutes. I got into the car, strapped in (there are no shoulder straps) and I could already feel my adrenaline pumping. I was so excited I screamed before it started! haha The ride operator told us to keep our head backs, and prepare ourselves. The anticipation was killing me...
Then a jolt of speed...at 150 mph I could barely feel my cheeks. It was the most exhilarating thing I have ever experienced in my entire life.
Although the rest of the park was, (shall I say not very exciting), the fastest roller coaster in the world makes it worth the visit. For Ferrari lovers this park will seem like a candy store, for thrill seekers, this is a once in a life time experience they are bound to love!
